COUNTABLE NOUNS

SINGULAR C.N.
A/AN (un,-a,-o)
(affirmative, negative & interrogative)
-       There is a cat on the roof.
-       There isn’t a cat on the roof.
-       Is there a cat on the roof?






PLURAL C.N.
SOME (algunos-as)
(affirmative)
ANY (algunos-as
       ningunos-as)
(negative & interrogative)

-       There are some cats on the roof.
-       There aren’t any cats on the roof.
-       Are there any cats on the roof?
A LOT OF/LOTS OF (muchos-as)(affirmative)
MANY
(negative & interrogative)
HOW MANY (cuántos)
(interrogative)

-       There are a lot of cats on the roof.
-       There aren’t many cats on the roof.
-       Are there many cats on the roof?
-       How many cats are there?
TOO MANY (demasiados)
-       There are too many cats on that roof.
(NOT) ENOUGH (suficientes)
